“I’d been considering doing a baby massage course for a little while but was never really convinced by any. When I saw an ad on Facebook for the Bambino & I course I had a look, and watched the first session (free). After that I signed up for the full course. The videos are a delight to watch, so calming in themselves! I love that Tammy, the instructor, is so well qualified and has trained midwives, this gives me confidence in what she is teaching. She doesn’t just teach the massage strokes, there is extra info in there too, so the course is comprehensive. On baby massage, I have just started with it, my little girl is 6 months old and absolutely loves it. I wish I had found this course sooner! I recently tried massage to help her with a particularly bad day of teething pain and the result was remarkable. She fully relaxed during the massage, was smiling for the first time that day, and it lasted long after the massage had finished. In short, I can’t recommend massage highly enough, and this is the ideal course to teach you how to do it 🙂”
“I was aware of the benefits of a massage for an infant but wasn’t familiar with the pressure / techniques to use for such a small human being. I purchased the online course when my son was 3 months old and since then, I have been (confidently) giving him a full body massage every day. The techniques were beautifully demonstrated by Tammy. The pace and strokes were easy to follow through the videos. I liked the suggestion of introducing nursery rhymes into his massage routine – it helps keep him still 😉 With the discount, the online course is also well priced! For those who complain of constipation, I must say that the session on tummy massage has greatly helped my son. Even my husband, who was hesitant to sign up to do a massage every evening, now looks forward to bond with our son through these massage routines. Lastly, I would like to add, Jan has been very prompt and helpful with any query I had after completing the course. I highly recommend this course to all parents.”
“I loved the this massage course SO MUCH. I have done loads of courses both for work and pleasure and have never enjoyed a course as much as this. Myself and my husband have since bought the course for 2 other people. I would highly recommend this course to anyone, it is such a lovely way to bond with your baby. My daughter absolutely loves the massage. She is our rainbow baby and sometimes it feels like our anxiety gets in the way of just enjoying her. The massage gives us a space to connect with each other and it is really mindful. When I massage her legs she sticks out her tummy dropping unsubtle hints to be massaged there! I feel I have also learned loads about child development from the website and feel much more confident in my ability as a parent. Thank you”
"I was astounded by the profound benefits of baby massage!"
Of course attending classes or having 1-1 face-to-face tuition is always preferable. You gain the social benefits of these methods too. However, we realise that there are often many barriers that prohibit women and men from accessing baby massage classes including cost, location, time, childcare for siblings, those suffering with post-partum depression to name a few. Our online course removes these barriers by making it affordable and accessible (so long as you have Wifi) and at a time that suits you, and, more importantly your baby. The choice is completely yours, but whatever you choose, we highly recommend learning this wonderful skill!
When starting our company, the aim was to make baby massage more accessible to all, to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn and benefit from this beautiful skill.
After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for 12 months - across any and all devices you own. And of course, you can keep everything you downloads forever.
If possible organic, unscented, cold-pressed vegetable oils are preferable. Such oils include sunflower oil, grapeseed oil and coconut oil.
If baby is crying, just stop the massage and attend to their other needs. Remember that baby massage should be a positive experience for both you and your baby. Baby may just not be in the mood for it, or perhaps they are coming down with something or perhaps they are in some discomfort. The most important thing is to always listen and react to your baby’s cues.
